Gluten-Free Roasted Grape Crostini
An Unexpected, Elegant Bite That Steals the Show

Roasted Grape Crostini White Platter Dark Background 5
Some of the most memorable dishes are the ones that surprise you — not with complexity, but with contrast. This Gluten-Free Roasted Grape Crostini is exactly that kind of dish.
At first glance, grapes on crostini might raise an eyebrow. One bite later, it sparks conversation.
Juicy red grapes are slowly roasted with sherry vinegar until they collapse into something rich, jammy, and deeply flavorful. As they roast, their natural sweetness intensifies while the vinegar adds a subtle tang that keeps everything beautifully balanced. Finished with fresh orange zest, flaky sea salt, and cracked black pepper, the result is a warm, glossy topping that leans both sweet and savory.
Spoon that mixture onto crisp slices of gluten-free baguette, add a shower of Parmesan, and finish with fresh basil — and suddenly you have a crostini that feels elegant, effortless, and entirely unexpected.

Why This Crostini Works

Roasted Grape Crostini Dark Platter Dark Background
This recipe is proof that gluten-free entertaining doesn’t have to play it safe. The contrast is what makes it special:
•Sweet + savory from the roasted grapes and cheese
•Bright acidity from sherry vinegar and citrus zest
•Crisp + jammy textures in every bite
It’s the kind of appetizer that feels right at home on a wine bar menu, yet simple enough to prepare for a dinner party, holiday gathering, or cocktail hour at home.
A Natural Wine Companion
Roasted grape crostini pair beautifully with wine — especially:
•Dry rosé
•Sparkling wines
•Light-bodied reds
•Crisp whites with good acidity
The sweet-savory balance of the grapes makes this crostini an ideal bridge between sips, enhancing the wine rather than competing with it.
Perfect for Entertaining
This is a dish I love serving when I want guests to pause, ask questions, and lean in for another bite. It’s:
•Elegant without being fussy
•Visually striking on a platter
•Easy to prep ahead and assemble just before serving
Whether you’re hosting an intimate gathering or building a grazing table, these crostini bring something unexpected — and unforgettable — to the table.
Gluten-Free, Without Compromise
